24th Annual 10,000 Meters at 10,000 Feet

What: A Challenging trail run with some rough terrain and breathtaking scenery.... this race is a Steamboat classic! The 10K race begins at 10,000 ft at the summit of Rabbit Ears Pass first heading uphill on USFS dirt roads and 2 track, the race then heads downhill on single-track, ending on a cross country single-track. This race although listed as a 10K is closer to 7 miles in length.

When: The 10K @ 10,000 ft. is run on Rabbit Ears Pass covering both single track and rustic mountain roads for an amazing trail run. This race is run on Sunday, September 5th, 2010 at 10:00 AM, and if you plan to walk the course the walk will begin at 10:05 AM. 5K and 10K offered.

Where: The summit of the old Rabbit Ears Pass Road. Take the Dumont Lake Road to the Rabbit Ears Monument and parking area.

Please no dogs allowed in the race

Registration: Pre-register online or at Ski Haus in Steamboat Springs. Day-of registration will be held between 9:00 - 9:30 am. Register early to ensure an entry gift and please remember that post race food is for runners and volunteers only.

What you receive: T-shirt for the first 120 registered racers, great food from Winona's, prizes for 1-3 M & F and raffle entry for prizes.
