Course Description(s):

  • The ½ marathon and 10k races start at Howelsen Hill Park in the parking lot of the Ice Rink
  • The 10k is an out and back on a relatively flat (for Steamboat!) course with 1 short steep hill.
  • The ½ marathon follows the same course for the 10k to start, heading south on River Road paralleling the Yampa River for a time before turning right and heading uphill through Dakota Ridge. The course then circles back along a beautiful country road with fabulous views of the Steamboat Ski area and the Yampa Valley.
