1st Craig Duathlon

What:  A three part run-bike-run event next to the Yampa river park "Loudy Simpson" in Craig Colorado, 31 miles west of Steamboat Springs off of US Highway 40.  A 5k run on a cross country course next to the Yampa river and then a 30K road bike course (Mtn. bikes are permitted) composed of two laps around a loop filled with several steep climbs and crossing the Yampa river back to the park.  Finally another 5K run over the previous run course. Individuals or 2 person teams can enter.

Race distance: Total 40k or 24.8 miles.  Elevation gain during bike event only.

Registration: There will be NO day-of registration for this event.  Pre-register online as an individual or two-person team. Register early to ensure an entry gift and please remember that post race food is for runners and volunteers only.

Time:  8:00 am - June 27, 2010

What you receive: Prizes for overall winners F, M and teams.  Refreshments and a very cool t-shirt to all competitors.
