Emerald Mountain Trail Run
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2010

What: Scenic trail run on beautiful Emerald Mountain.  The course for the Emerald Mountain trail run will be a tour of Emerald mountain starting at the base of Howelson Hill. The course will meander north west on dirt road and then through aspen lined singletrack up to the top of Emerald Mountain. The course will then follow singletrack down and cross country to the base of Howelson Hill.  

This race will serve as the end of the pointed season where series winners will be announced.

Proceeds from this race will benefit the Yampa Valley Autism Program in memory of our dear friend Jenna Gruben.

We encourage everyone to come out next weekend for Run Rabbit Run to support the 50 miler runners, volunteer, cheer them on or run yourself!

Race Distance: Approximately 7 miles (12K).

Elevation gain: ~ 1150 ft total, with 550 ft being in the first 1.3 miles.

Where: The race starts and finishes at the Howelson Hill complex in the grassy park next to the tennis courts.

Registration: Pre-register online or at Ski Haus in Steamboat Springs.  Day of registration from 8:00 - 8:30 am.  Register early to ensure an entry gift and please remember that post race food is for runners and volunteers only.

What you receive: Entry gift for the 1st 100 registered runners, great food from Freshie's, prizes for winners and raffle entry for prizes. Please register early for this event. End of season party to follow race.
