
Emerald Mountain Trail Run
This race will serve as the end of the SSRS pointed season where series winners will be announced. Please be present to pick up awards.
This races offers two distances on Emerald Mountain, 12k (ends up being closer to 7.75 miles long) and a 4 mile run. This scenic course will begin at the base of Howelsen Hill and tour Emerald Mountain through aspen lined single track. Hikers are welcomed in the 12k. This race is a fundraiser for Northwest Colorado Health.

Register online here or on-site. Online registration will close at 6 p.m. Friday, September 29th. On-site registration will be available from 8:00 am – 9:00 am in Olympian Hall on race day. You can also register at Ski Haus at 1457 Pine Grove Road on Friday, September 29th from 4-6 pm.

- 12K: $40* until August 30th; $45* through September 29th; $50* on race day
- 4 Mile: $25* until August 30th; $30* through September 29th; $35* on race day
- Kids Run: Free
Racers 17 & under: $15* through September 29th; $20* on race day

Packet Pick-Up:
Ski Haus at 1457 Pine Grove Road on Friday, September 29th from 4-6 pm as well as from 8:00 to 9:00 inside Olympian Hall on race day.

Course Description:
12k
Start behind Olympian Hall and follow Robbie’s to Mile Run to Blackmere. Continue up to Larry’s via Blackmere, then take Larry’s up and over through the meadow to head across and pop out on Blackmere again for a short time. Run up Blackmere to the Quarry and down Little Moab to Lupine. Take Lupine to the Bluff’s and then a big loop on the Bluffs down to the start.
4 Mile
Start behind Olympian Hall and follow Robbie’s to Mile Run to Blackmere. Continue up Blackmere to the Lupine intersection across from Larry’s. Take a left on Lupine and continue running to the Bluffs trail. Take Bluffs down to the front of the horse stables. Continue through the park/soft ball fields back to Olympian Hall start/finish area.
Additional information: Please be respectful of passing hikers on the trail. If you are hiking, please pull to the side to allow runners to pass. Headphones are not encouraged.

Every participant is automatically entered in our prize raffle, which will follow the awards ceremony.

Proceeds from this race will be donated to Northwest Colorado Health.
