RACE CANCELLED: Due to the current CDC and government recommendations for hosting events/large gatherings, we will be cancelling the 2020 Emerald Mountain Trail Run. Please understand that we take your health and well-being very seriously, and we want to do all that we can to keep you and our volunteers healthy during the 2020 race season.
Emerald Mountain Trail Run
This race will serve as the end of the SSRS pointed season where series winners will be announced. Please be present to pick up awards.
This races offers two distances on Emerald Mountain, 12k (ends up being closer to 7.75 miles long) and a 4 mile run. This scenic course will begin at the base of Howelsen Hill and tour Emerald Mountain through aspen lined single track. Hikers are welcomed in the 12k. This race is a fundraiser for Northwest Colorado Health.

Register online or on-site. On-site registration will be available from 7:30 to 8:15 in Olympian Hall. You can also register at Ski Haus at 1457 Pine Grove Road on Friday, October 2nd from 4-6 pm.

Racers 17 & under: $15
Ski Haus at 1457 Pine Grove Road on Friday, October 2nd from 4-6 pm as well as from 7:30 to 8:15 inside Olympian Hall.
Please help the Steamboat Springs Running Series in keeping our events safe and healthy for the community. If you are sick, stay at home. SSRS will transfer your entry to a different 2020 event of the same price or less if you are unable to attend due to illness or have concerns for your personal health and well-being (no refunds available). Start behind Olympian Hall and follow Robbie’s to Mile Run to Blackmere. Continue up to Larry’s via Blackmere, then take Larry’s up and over through the meadow to head across and pop out on Blackmere again for a short time. Run up Blackmere to the Quarry and down Little Moab to Lupine. Take Lupine to the Bluff’s and then a big loop on the Bluffs down to the start.
Additional information: Please be respectful of passing hikers on the trail. If you are hiking, please pull to the side to allow runners to pass. Headphones are not encouraged.
Awards and Post Race:
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place males and females (No AG awards)
Every participant is automatically entered in our prize raffle, which will follow the awards ceremony.
Proceeds from this race will be donated to Northwest Colorado Health.
